Appointment of George Pearce as Operations Director (1st August 2022)

We are delighted to appoint George as Operations Director at Henbrandt Ltd.

George has previously worked within the industry running his own businesses in e-commerce and software development. His expertise involves the complete supply chain management involved with import and export business, as well as significant experience with online marketplaces like Amazon and eBay. He has worked with the business on a consultancy basis since 2018 and has been responsible for a number of successful projects, including our anti-counterfeiting operation and the technology driving our post-Brexit trade with Europe. He'll now be joining the business full time and permanently as an employee, shareholder and Director.

His role will broaden to lead and support our warehouse and supply chain departments, as well as integrating a new technical team into our existing IT department to drive research & development and enable us to continue to deliver a best-in-industry experience for our customers. He'll also be an integral part of the expansion of our European operation and the launch of next- and 2- day delivery services for eligible European customers.

Henbrandt is one of the only businesses in its industry to commit to not directly supply marketplaces like Amazon and thus not to compete with its own customers. We are pleased to reinforce this commitment with the recruitment of an experienced Director who will work to support and promote our online customers with the entire lifecycle of selling our products - from design of internet-friendly packaging through development of optimised listings to compliance management. This builds upon our existing innovations to support online customers, which include self-service safety certification and our managed Amazon listing team.

George is looking forward to working within Henbrandt Ltd as his full time role and will not have any external interests. He sees this as a lifetime opportunity and we welcome him wholeheartedly to the team.

Garry Brandt will now take place as Chairman of the Board.
